INGREDIENTS
Neutral oil
2 pounds Impossible™ beef made from plants
1 quart chile oil
3 cups minced garlic
3 cups minced ginger
3 cups soy sauce
2 cups shaoxing cooking wine
1 cup hoisin sauce
½ cup sesame oil
1 quart chopped scallion
Cooked Chinese noodles
Sliced scallion
Cilantro
METHOD
Heat a large wok or sauté pan over high flame. Add oil and heat until just smoking. Add Impossible™ beef, breaking with a spatula as it browns. Add chile oil, garlic, and ginger. Cook 1 minute. Deglaze pan with soy sauce and cook additional 1 minute. Add shaoxing wine and cook 1 minute. Add hoisin sauce and sesame oil. Cook 1 minute, or until mixture is fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in scallions. Set aside. Place noodles in a serving bowl. Top with Impossible™ beef mixture. Garnish with scallions and cilantro.
